Boomerang Killer is a returning boomerang with a traditional double-wing shape. When I show this boomerang a lot of people say - that's what I call a real boomerang. It is so, because in the past boomerangs were made out of branches of trees, which were by nature bent in a similar shape.
Hand made boomerang, decorated in handmade ethnic painting.
It got it's name "Killer" for a good reason. It was one of our first models made out of 10 mm (!) plywood. This is really a heavy weapon.
It's almost impossible to use it properly, for someone who is accustomed to delicate, three-millimeter thick boomerangs. It's better as a fantastic gift - decoration, although it can be thrown so that it will come back. Anyway, I do not recommend catching - it can damage your hand or dislocate your finger (which unfortunately happened to my thumb).
Hand painted ethno decoration shows a Eastern long-necked turtle (Chelodina longicollis). This is a very common species of turtle occurring in the eastern part of Australia. Of course, the turtle is one of the dishes of traditional Aboriginal cuisine. It is often found on the rock paintings. On this boomerang we have painted a turtle crawling towards two water reservoirs connected by a river or stream.
For an additional fee, the boomerang can be personalized by adding an occasional inscription, but then the delivery time will be extended.
If the boomerang is meant to be a present, it may be useful to completed it with a stand, which helps to keep the boomerang upright. The stands are available in our "ACCESSORIES" section.
Throwing - recommended only for adult, advanced throwers.
Range 32-43 yd. (30-40 meters) depending on the power of the thrower. Dimensions of the boomerang: 19½″ x 7 ⅓″ (49.5x19.5 cm). Birch plywood, 7-ply, thickness ⅖″(10mm).
