After several years of absence, the boomerang monkey returns ;)
My older son (he was 6 years old) encouraged me to make this boomerang when he asked me: "Can you make a boomerang in the shape of a monkey?" and I told him "Of course I can" and that's how Monkey Boomerang was born.
Despite its small shape, it is quite a heavy model and requires a good spin when throwing that it has enough energy for the return. An oval flight at a relatively low altitude. It weighs a bit, so you have to be careful when catching it.
Range about 25-30 meters. Dimensions of the boomerang: 20.5 x 23 cm. 5 mm thick birch aircraft plywood (Finnish).
