Katana 3.0 is a very light boomerang and because of this light weight and low power requirements is a good one for children. This low weight is also its weakness, because it requires almost windless weather. With the light gusts, the flight becomes less stable, and then you need some experience to master this boomerang.
Special note for throwers with "heavy hand" - this boomerang should be handled very gently. When thrown too hard it loses its precision.
This boomerang was designed by my friend Leo Walotek-Scheidegger, who is known also as "Hanbei". Leo is a classic polymath - nowadays, there are hard to find people like that. He is journalist, maritime historian, constructor, sailor, traveler, but also boomerang man – and that’s why we were met.
He is looking for adventure and thrill in every geographical latitude. He is into geocaching lately, sometime ago he had a sea blog, where you could learn many interesting things about the seas, oceans, ships, pirates, etc...
