Renner Red Boomerang – basic version of right-handed copolymer returning boomerang

Renner is a boomerang of German production. It is available in a right-handed version only. Some say that due to its plasticity, it can be bent in the way to make it suitable for left-handed throwers, but we do not recommend it to people with little boomerang experience. Here you can buy Red version. Other colors that we have in our store are the Yellow Renner boomerang and the Orange Renner boomerang.

Renner - as say its creators Axel Heckner and Vincent Faika - is a universal boomerang. It was designed so that a beginner could throw it properly, and at the same time, it could satisfy an advanced pitcher, thanks to wide range of possible processing, modifications and tunings.

The basic building material is a copolymer, which gives it high durability. This strength decreases only at low temperatures - close and below zero Celsius. In such conditions, the material becomes much harder and stiffer, it is easier to damage and may crack when bent. Overall, it is a stable plastic boomerang with a very good price-quality ratio. The flight path is pleasant and the ability to tune and bend gives room for experimentation.

Beginners who do not have skills or knowledge about modifying and tuning boomerangs will have a very well-functioning boomerang with a range of about 20 m. What is important for beginners - this boomerang model forgives some minor throwing errors, and special notched recesses in the wing tips ensure a good grip when throwing.

Experienced throwers can make modifications and change the properties of the Renner, creating a completely different boomerang, depending on the desired end results. Reworked Renners can be found in the tournament sets of many pro throwers from around the world. It can be easily drilled, cut, sanded, tuned, and bent in any way you want, therefore, it is considered by advanced boomerang athletes as a good model to adapt for competitions such as Fast Catch, Endurance or Accuracy.

Generally, Renners come in various versions that differ in stiffness and weight. The manufacturer achieves different properties by changing the proportions of admixtures such as talc, glass fibers, wood fibers and others. Currently, our offer includes a light and flexible, basic Renner model from the 2023 series, made of high-quality polypropylene copolymer without stiffening and weight-bearing admixtures.
